Joining SPEC Super

It's easy to become a SPEC Super member - just follow the steps below.

If you are employed by an Employer in the electro-technology and allied industries you are eligible to join the SPEC Select division of SPEC Super.

If you are self-employed, a contractor, spouse, family or friend of an existing SPEC Super member you are eligible to join the SPEC Personal division of SPEC Super.

If you are seeking a flexible and regular retirement income stream, you may be interested in the SPEC Pension.

Step 1


Download a copy of the relevant Product Disclosure Statement or contact SPEC Super for a copy on
1300 366 648.

Step 2


Read through the information in the relevant Product Disclosure Statement carefully before completing the Member Application located in the back of the Product Disclosure Statement.

When filling out the Member Application, please remember to:

  • Complete the Member Details section
  • Complete the Employer Details section if you are joining SPEC Select
  • Provide your Tax File Number (TFN) to avoid paying more tax than necessary
  • Tick the Member Online box for secure internet access
  • Customise your insurance
  • Nominate your preferred beneficiary(s) or make a binding death nomination
  • Choose your preferred investment option(s).

Step 3


Sign and date your Member Application.
